Forthog Orc slayer ?

So can the orc be recruited as part of our army ? Or is he just a random saviour who pops up every now and then without extended role in the game ?

Forthog isn't an Orc, it's a random savior that helps you when you're defeated saving you from death, btw, Forthog was released in honor to Mike Forgey, who works on the game development (Executive producer I guess, at least that's the translation).

Minor spoiler but nothing about the story of this game.
There's a wonderful cinematic about him in the game's credits, that will make you cry :')
