Do i need to get the silver/gold ediition or is normal game enough?

So I want to get the game but there is the dlc stuff and its rated quite poorly. Is it worth it to pay 30 bucks more for all the dlc for the gold edition or should I just get the base game?

Honestly, even with playing with silver edition...and the two tribes dlc. I can say the abse game is more than enough. The tribe dlc just adds a bunch of markers and annoyances to the game.

The DLC's are pretty lack luster. I got them because I usually get all DLC's for any game I really like, and I really like this game.

The 2 tribe DLC does not do not add much other than some different looking orcs/forts. When the 2 story expansions come out, those might be worth something, but we won't know how much is added or if they are good stories until they are released in a few months.

Slaughter gear has little use in regular siege. It is mainly for soloing fortress and vendetta quests. You rarely use execute or stealth with it due to it drains your HP for boosting damage continuously to eventually O.H.K.O. with normal attack or AoE against orc troops.

Outlaw (Blackguard) gear is a very powerful gear set for siege and solo at the same time, and it provides ability to kill captains quickly, and instant kill with execute or stealth in some case due to a mass boost on damage.
