Shadow of War: Tar Goroth/ Balrog Boss Fight BIG BUG/GLITCH

I've been playing this game for almost a week and I have a problem now. This is my first topic here, so excuse me if I make mistake. So my problem is that, when I'm on carnan's drake on the frozen lake, fighting tar goroth/ balrog, there comes a moment when Balrog cathces you with its whip and a circle pops up on the middle of the screen and you should press a button repeatedly, which is "space button" for PC players. No matter how many times and how hard I have tried, space button doesn't work, naturally I keep losing the fight. The best I could do was to reach the quarter of the circle. I can't even come to the half of the circle by pressing space so many times.
I have changed the keybinding "space" to "h", hoping that maybe a different button can help but it didn't work either.

I have a gamepad and as you may know, some games allow you to play with gamepads along with the choice of keyboard. I thought maybe playing this part of the game with a gamepad could solve the problem but "NOPE". I couldn't see an option to change the control settings from keyboard to gamepad.

I never got a problem like that before.

I used an xbox 360, so the button is "A". The game automatically recognizes the controller and switches from keyboard when I turn it on. There is a similar feature when pinned by a caragor, but the button you have to press quickly is different. Does that work properly for you?

Well, unfortunately I have only pc and two controller (gamepad) apart from that. First of all, I've just closed the game, and then plugged my controller in the computer cabinet. My pc recognized it and I have started the game but the game didn't recognize it.

That button doesn't work properly either.

I had the same problem ... I fixed it by rebinding the 'acceleration' key under 'Drake controls' from my spacebar to a different key in settings (I rebound mine to an extra button on the side of my mouse).

Played the mission again and it worked like a charm ... it's as simple as that to fix.

Props to Wes, binding it to mouse 5 worked like a charm :D
