Bodyguard Disappeared with No Reason

I had the entire Gorgoroth region filled with level 60 dominated captains, including my legendary bodyguard that was imported from Shadow of Mordor.

After doing some slaughter tribe missions, random captains replaced some of these orcs, once again, including my imported bodyguard.

I looked everywhere to find my missing bodyguard, but he did not come back. He did NOT die. He was just replaced by random orcs despite the fact that there was no room to fill in another captain.

Is there any hope of getting my bodyguard back? He was imported from the previous game and had a bunch of great abilities, which made him my favorite of all orcs in this game that is not really replaceable. As of right now, I'm just hoping somebody to create a save editor or orc creator tool of some sort to solve this issue.

yep. Be very aware of the tribe missions and your captain board. Only inside the fortress they will be safe from replacement. Especially if you do the ones with multible captains fighting eachother.

I found a temporary solution to this issue. I had lost one of my Bodyguards as well out of no where yesterday after bouncing around the map, it seems to happen during Tribe missions. So I was pissed and just kind of pressed on (because glitches be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) for a little while and assigned another. Well it happened again but this time I didn't leave the Army screen so your game doesn't auto save. Hit Ctl Alt Delete and end the game Task in Task Manager. Reload/Start your game and your Bodyguard will be back.
