And you can always just watch the fight as well from the rooftops etc, see if your Overlord has strength if he's forced to come out of the Nemesis Tower to fight the Siege Warchiefs.
That's originally what I did. I stayed on the fortress tower and simply observed and by god Sauron still had a hard time getting in. When he finally did manage to kill my Overlord, I realized that during the story I had branded nearly every uruk in the region. I think until they (hopefully) put in some sort of region reset, I'm just going to order all of my uruks to fight to the death in the pits and THEN start the fort assault.
One thing tho, not sure if its related to loosing your fort and then regaining it but after I did that I dont see my own fortress in the online list and I'm unable to test it.
