Rebellion update?
How does this new mechanic work in the game, or how do you "trigger" it. I read somewhere that if you have all the orcs in the region as your followers, they will eventually do like an mass betrayal or something.

Apparently from what I'm hearing, if you have too many Captains in a Region that outnumber the maximum 30 Captain Slots (37, if you count the Fortress Slots), they will cause a Mission that you might need to fight against Rebels in your Fortress, and if you don't get there in time maybe you lose the Fortress?

I have to say this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to add now. I mean I already dominated most the field in every area. Makes me not want to play more.... :2016imnotcrying:

But isn't it kind of fun that not everyone is following your orders like some sheeps or something, and i even find it fun to kill off my own guys so i can get some free spaces on the army menu and just wait for new captais to take their places etc. the game goes on and on and ooon.

They rebel enough as is. I am in Act Iv trying to subjugate Mordor. What I do not need is more sieges or events to drag out the act due to a new mechanic I had no way of planning for straight up sabotaging my game. Not happy at all this is being added at this stage. This is something that should have been in the initial release or not been added at all. :steamsalty:

I have nurn at the point where all the captains are branded with no room for new ones so i could see how the update worked but even after over 5 hours of doing stuff in nurn not one captain betrayed me.

They are sheep though. You literally dominate their minds.

I have found an odd correlation in my games where the ones I treat too nicely (minus reviving which I do to everyone) tend to betray me the most. And the ones I neglect and merely "have" to pad out my numbers are the ones that are super loyal and rescue me during downs and give me a little pep talk after being killed by someone with No Chance.
Usually only your Captains that are in the field will betray you - Warchiefs will rarely betray you, and often only if you kill their Blood-Brother. Overlords never betray you as long as they are an Overlord, even if you kill their Blood-Brother, from what I know.

My guess is that Rebellion makes it so your Field-Captains will be the most likely to try and overthrow you, and your Warchiefs/Overlord will be VERY hesitant to betray you - they've got it better, they're in charge of a Fortress, a REGION of MORDOR itself, let off a leash to rule as they please, repayment by ruling under the Bright Lord's Banner.

Also, you should kinda note this down - Keep your most prized, favored Orcs as Warchiefs/Overlords - This will reduce their Betrayal Percentage by LOADS.

Field-Captains (As I call my Captains who are not apart of the Fortress Slots) Will always feel left out or less-valued, - Why should THEY work for a Lord who doesn't let them rule a Fortress? And why should a Captain let a Lord rule them who demotes them to Field-Captain to let another Captain take his place?

Remember: Your Fortress is IMPENETRABLE from Betrayal of your Field-Captains, and even your Warchiefs betraying you is only a minor inconvenience of whom you can replace, your Fortress can only be taken or harmed by a Fortress Siege.

I don't understand people who dominate all the uruks in a region. You're purposefully cutting off one testicle by removing half the nemesis missions possible. Why do people like having even less of a reason to play?

Still haven't palyed the game, Dec 12th is coming soon, be that as it may...this is a retarded update. I've seen people get betrayed, sometimes back to back in certain situations. This just makes that mechanic moot and bland.

I've only ever been betrayed due to blood brother revenge. Stop ignoring your captains and forcing them into pit fights. Stop having 99% of the region dominated and there won't be so many betrayals. Stop sucking and complaining.
