Can you try to recruit the orc you're supposed to kill? I know you're not allowed to bring any orcs with you, but would it still count as capturing an orc as far as unlocking gear upgrades?

the last legendary vendetta set requires you to dominate the target. (vendetta sets can only be obtained through online vendetta mission)

I branded an uruk captain during a vendetta and it completed the mission, but I didn't get to keep him :(

I know we can't keep them. I was just wondering if it counted towards upgrading gear.

So I just tested this out some and it works!!!
So all you have to do it go on those vendetta missions and find super legendary orcs of the required type to upgrade your gear.
