Xbox Controller not working

how many times i have tried different controller, uninstalling the drivers and so on, this game wont let me use my controller, it know its there but i cant click buttons

please can anyone help

Same here, anyone know why? I can press the first A prompt when the game starts and then nothing...

Same problem here. Already tried rebooting and reinstalling drivers. No dice.

I'm on WIndows 7.

I found a fix:
1. Start the game with the controller connected
2. after the initial "A" prompt, disconnect your controller
3. Reconnect your controller and push "A" when the prompt pops up again
This worked for me. I use the xbox-windows wireless adapter so idk if it'll work with other setups

I found when I moved it onto a different hard drive, it started to work again

Make sure your controller is recognized as controller number 1. just keep reconnecting it until it's fixed

I have win 7 pro and an X-box 360 game pad for windows. Game pad works fine. Only thing is it HAS TO BE connected before launching the game.

If your game pads not working it;s going to be driver related or hardware related. Hardware as in your game pad needs replacing.

It's not a driver issue. SoM did the same thing to me and it was literally because the controller got locked into controller 2 some how. He just needs to unplug his controller, sign out of his computer reconnect the controller, and then sign back in.

So, IDK if anyone is still currently playing this game, but I just got this game for my PC and ran into this issue. I went to the device manager and uninstalled the xbox360 controller under xbox 360 peripherals (I've never used a 360 controller with this machine) restarted and the controller worked.

I was running into the same issue using the rog ally with xbox controller. Took me a while but when I didn't connect the controller until I was actually in game it started working. I also play on gog so I disabled steam input if that helps any.
