Elven Rage bug?

Hi! I've been playing since release and haven't had any other issues so far, but during the second/third story mission in chapter 2 'Shadows of the Past', you're tasked with activity elven rage, but for some reason it doesn't work/activate at all? Does anyone knows if I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I had this. I'd turned off the option to see when things were active (like meters), but when I turned that interface option on I could actually use it. As soon as I turned it on it worked. I can only assume it's bugged

Entity, i'm not sure what you mean? could you please tell me the name of the options you turned on and off, because i'm having the same issue.

I think there are frames where you can't activate it to. Like if you are in the middle of an attack animation or execution, it won't trigger. It feels like you have to be idle sometimes to get it going. I thought the same thing during that mission, but it seems to work all the time now.

My issue is that it does not work the way it is decribed. When I activate it, it performs a whole bunch of arrow shots via bow. The "Skills" page shows it "makes melee strike lethal and enabling you to unleash unlimited executions." It simply does NOT work like that...at least for me.

Entity's solution worked for me, in game settings I turned all notifications off, played a very short while and turned them back which seemed to solved the problem of not being abled to start elven rage (L + R thumbsticks).
Im using an nvidia shield controller...

Mine stops filling up so I cant even activate it
