Importing from Shadow of Mordor?
I searched this forum and online but I can find nothing on the process or if I need to do anything? Does Shadow of War automatically find the save files from that game and just not tell me? I would like to know before I get into the campaign if my stuff will import over or not. Thanks.

Would like to know too
Yeah i've been looking through search history here and online and nothing so far. Just talk of how the game is supposed to import saves from articles everywhere back in july.

Just had my nemesis in a mission, so it imports it automatically.

So do you know if it is linked to the Steam Cloud saves or is it your WBID ?

Same... though he didn't look the same as in shadow of mordor...

same for me, he also had a different personality and well it is a shame that you are forced to kill him in a mission. i'm failing to see the point of what this was about, could have saved my time trying to make a strong nemesis.
Now I wonder which save it will import? Because I have two different ones on Shadow of Mordor. Will be interesting to see what characters/saves it pulles.

Encountered my nemesis pretty early in the game. Haven't seen a sign of my companion though and I've already conquered three forts.

Same here, Nemesis is Dead and Companion nowhere to be found

Very disappointed, I'm glad I didn't take the nemesis forge too serious like some people who poured hours and hours into crafting the perfect nemesis, just to have a butchered version having to be killed in a mission.

there was never a guarantee your nemesis would be transfered pefectly :/ there are new traits they can get now and I think osmeone said that some were removed? Maybe the names caused the changes? Orcs get names based on their skills so your nemesis' name may have caused issues when it was brought over?

For me it was my most recent save and it imported automatically. I've not come across my follower yet as I have only just reached Act 2 but I came across my Nemesis as part of the story in Act 1.

Yes there never was a guarantee but they marketed it as this great thing where you can bring your Nemesis, the guy that kicked your ass over and over again into the next game so your personal story with this guy continues. And then you have to kill him in a mission with other orcs and he is gone just like that.
That is quite a disappointing end to my personal story with this guy I'll be honest.

Well I'm willing to bet that most people haven't been back to that area since doing all the missions there, so maybe the nemesis is one of those "guaranteed to return" kind of deals. My nemesis' corpse is still there in the army screen when I went back to that area for like five minutes, so I personally can't rule that out.
