Large page mode question
Hey guys, I have a quick question. Does anyone know if large page mode actually makes a difference in performance?

I would assume so considering they went to the trouble of incorporatring it. It may give a few more fps, but don't expect a massive difference.

I tried turning it on, but didn't notice any change. Though I've yet to notice any performance dip at any point so far, even with tons of crap going on.

Cool Cool, thanks. I'll try it I guess and check it out.

It tells you that you have to restart your computer system then it will work, it doesn't activate otherwise.

The question is what sort of specs your system needs to have (or fail to have I suppose) for you to notice the performance fix.

I think people trying to achieve 4K will notice a difference since 4K supposedly takes up 12gb VRAM and will make it easier for your system to run such resolutions etc.

Heh, my system can easily handle that... but I don't actually own a 4K monitor. :p

After setting everything to the max at 4k, it only uses about 8 gigs of VRAM according the game settings menu.

Do you have the 4K cinematics/hi-res textures downloaded?

Got this turned on after full pc restart. I'm assuming it utilizes fast ram speed? Idk but my ram is running at 3200mhz so I turned it on lol.

Interesting, thanks. Someone from reddit said 12gb for some reason lol

For my it made a difference of like 8-10 fps, i made a benchmark with Large Page Disable: 63 FPS. Large Page Enable: 72.
GTX 1070, i5 6600K 16GB Ram.

It upped my fps by at least 15 so yeah, would recommend turning it on just in case it gives you a similar boost.
