I can kick *** in these types of usually no matter how hard they are, but I fought this real badass orc captain that was throwing down bear traps and ****, yes, BEAR TRAPS... he also had a huge club and could gap close like instantly. I think he has killed me twice lol.
Awesome game aside from trash denuvo, once again terrible decision by WB. I can tell Denuvo is causing a performance hit-- SOM ran perfectly, but SOW feels a little off in terms of performance... all those thousands of extra calls from denuvo to run the game code from virtual machines all over your HD take its toll for those of us without super computers.
One thing that makes this game innately harder is the fact that you can't upgrade your HP without gear. Each hit I take is a huge chunk of HP removed.
Here's a fruit basket.
Then you just got lucky with bad captains. Just play a bit more and for sure you will bite your teeth out ;)
And honestly Normal is just way too easy compared to Shadow of Mordor. I'm killing orc captains left and right without having to struggle, other than one tanky guy who gave me a little trouble they just die in like 20 seconds. I dunno if this is just the prologue level or if it's like this the rest of the game. Wondering if I can change to Nemesis or do I have to restart?
The combat also feels kinda...mushy compared to the first game, kinda like the way Arkham Knight felt to me compared to the other Arkham games. I'm sure it will speed up and get more intense as the game goes on but it doesn't feel as crazy as the default difficulty in the first game.
