Crash!!! (Possibily Fixed!)

The game keeps crashing at random spots after roughly 40 minutes of play. I'm on a 1080 and well above anything required. Anyone else experiencing this? I have no idea whats causing it...All drivers updated..

I am getting constant crashes, with an error “the gpu will not respond to more commands, most likely because of an invalid command passed by the calling application”. I have a gtx 980ti, everything updated as well.

I'm on a 1080Ti and this keeps happening to me too, I've tried to complete the second shelob quest 3 times now and it just crashes at random intervals and also crashes just randomly while I'm doing stuff in the world.

this might not work for some people, but i turned my graphics down to medium graphics, turned on vertical sync to 60, updated to the latest microsoft visual c++, checked my nvidia drivers, and kinda worked for me.

Can't even load the game, crashes on my 1080ti.
Really appriciate that I can't leave a review unless I have 5 minutes played, given that I can't play the game at all.
GG Valve, way to keep me fromt stopping other people from wasting their time and money.

I have the same issue, it starts up, starts the black loading screen with the loading icon on the bottom right for a few seconds then crashes, I have a gtx 1080, latest windows 10 update, latest nvidia drivers, tried restarting, tried disabling antiviruses, nothing worked.

Same bere. Except I load in briefly than before ten minutes has passed it crashes my laptop that the game insists I should be running on Ultra Settings to a black screen and then restarts.

Shockingly a WB game seems to have been poorly optimized on launch which is not what I expected from Monolith.

The game crashed in the main menu once but that's it.

The game crashed any time... 5 min play or 20 min play... Sometimes you jump and crash. Drivers update more times. ALL UPDATE more times. Win 10, 1080ti.
