Sound bug?
So I cant hear a lot of speech in game. i.e. the entire opening scene I couldn't hear Talion speak or Celebrimbor only a smidge of *Spoiler* Shelob talking. Anyone else getting this?

Edit: Upgrading my Realtek sound driver worked

Yeah, there are reports here of the high pitched bug.

Nope, no go.

Adjusting sound quality as suggested above.

I have verified my files and returned no issues. STILL the high pitched audio is persistent...Cutscenes are running at 1.5x speed along with the voices....UGH....

Nope, no go. No such setting exists.

I had high-pitched audio on some things, not others. Verified game 4 times. One time it downloaded a file, but didn't change anything. I went and got the latest from Realtek for my onboard audio (not the MB's site). That fixed it, or it magically fixed itself cooncidentally when I did that.
@KickingAsh, I believe your issue can be fixed by setting your audio device in the Windows control panel to output stereo rather than surround sound. This issue is common if Windows thinks you have a surround sound system but you only have stereo connected. Find the sound settings in Windows control panel, select your audio device, and press the "Configure" button.

Old topic, I know. But I had that issue on my third playthrough.

So I tried:
- Reinstalling Game
- Deavticateing Cloud
- Deleting all savegames (dlc included)

Did not work. I started a another a new game (5th time finding the problem), everytime on gravewalker. First artifact: Nothing.

I changed the difficulty to Normal. Second artifact: Got the comments from Talion an Celebrimbor.

Changed back to gravewalker. Third artifact: Works fine now.

So, I guess the bug is somehow related to the difficulty setting? So solution in my case was start as normal and change after the first artifact.

Did you have to restart with a new difficulty like you said in the last sentence? Changing difficulty after the beginning didn't do anything for me.

Just go for sound settings on the operate system which are win10 or win11 that you are using. Then go for respectively all sound devices and speaker. And turn off enhance audio. That should be work.
