[SPOILERS] Act 3

OK so, I just finished act 3, there wasn't much gameplay about it obviously, but can anyone explain what happened? Like, did Celebrimbor just break up with me? Why did he leave me for that light-hand gir? Something about Shelob, she said that Dark Lord Bright Lord or that Celebrimbor wants the army for himself bla bla I couldnt catch up.Why Celebrimbor didn't want me to kill Isildur? He was like "nooo, army for myself bla bla" or something.

I am confused right now, having a break up hangover, Bright Lord whyyyy? Please keep it spoilers-free if you can, because I haven't done anything for Act 4 yet.

AND WTHHH Sauron and him merged together?

Celebrimbor betrayed you because he basically just wants to replace Sauron. Talion was catching onto his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but elf chicky was tricked by him and seduced by his ring.

Shelob has prophetic future sight, so she knew what Celebrimbor was going to do, which is why she ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with you at the start of the game in the first place.

I'm assuming you've seen this next part but I'll put it in the spoiler text just in case: To save your own life and try to stop Celebrimbor and Sauron you take Isildur's ring, becoming a Nazgul yourself, but you still have control of yourself for now

Oh darn, I thought I was going to be the next Dark Lord with that Ring. It all makes sense now, Bright Lord and is power hunger

Basically you would've been the next Dark Lord if Shelob hadn't interfered. As it was, Sauron fought Celebrimbor to a draw so they're basically struggling for control right now. I haven't finished act 4 yet so I don't know the ending

Still the Bright Lord as the Dark Lord himself would've been your servant, Act 4 is just the Shadow Wars after you finish that section you're given a cutscene set way in the future to the events of Return of the King which shows what happens i won't spoil it for you though, i must admit i was a skeptic about them tying it into the series but they did it in a good way.
