Yes, actually.

Marauder overlords means there are more loot orcs in the area to kill and get rewards from.

All overlords affect the region in some way, even if it is only aesthetic.

For example, Feral Overlords means there are more bait (and drake bait) around the areas

kinda bollocks the game doesn't tell you what exactly your overlord choice affects.

I dislike that your overlord isn't anything but a decorator puppet.

Warchiefts had significance in shadow of mordor. Give them bodyguards, send them on missions - profit.

Thanks for your replys I googled a little bit and found the bonuses. Im going to list them if someone might have the same question ^^
I got this from: https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/206388-middle-earth-shadow-of-war/75874663

Dark--- Most notably, several alchemy tables will be placed in certain areas, and shooting them will release a giant burst of poison balefire that heavily damages those nearby.

Feral ---Most notably, more bait can be found in areas controlled by the Feral Tribe, and you will find Drake Bait in greater quantities in Forts and Outposts.

Machine---Most notably, several new forges will be placed around the fort and outpost - and the fire within can be detonated with keen archery skills.

Marauder---
Most notably, several new forges will be placed around the fort and outpost - and the fire within can be detonated with keen archery skills.

Mystic---Most notably, altars both large and small will be erected that members of the Mystic Tribe will pray to invoke the resurrection of their fallen comrades. Only by using your wraith powers of Consume can you disrupt their altars.

Terror--- it only descibe the look it does.

Warmonger---same as terror. Only looks.
