Can keep playing after story?

I searched in discussions "can you keep playing after main story?" and nothing came up...

I also googled "shadow of war can you do side quests after main story?" ... No answer again...

So I'm asking here, can you keep playing after main story is complete to finish side quests?

Well, the warning specifically tells you to make sure you have Idril and Baranor, Eltariel (other than the one that warns you), Bruz and Carnon quests done before you start this mission. That would be a no. The side quests are unable to be completed, but you can keep playing, you just can't do the quests.

the world is changing after the story but not the nemesis missions or anythint about nemesis. so u do all the side quests and main mission once u done, rest is not gonna be effected, and u can play also u gonna get tons of fortress missions to defend, so if u done with main + side missions go head.

Yes, i even finished the "shadow wars".

You return to the game after the story. Then act IV starts, wich is shadow wars. In shadow wars the game is still fully functional.
After that you get the 'true ending'. After the true ending you return to the game.

Are there still fortress defenses after shadow wars or does that stop once you're finished with act 4?

What side mission? I even played one of the blade of galadriel missions after shadow wars for the achievement. The only moment you can't play the side mission is when you are about to start the last story mission. After that everything returns to normal.

Fort defense sadly stops after shadow wars. Online conquest is the only option to engage in fort assaults.

When you say everything returns to normal, do you mean side quests can be completed or not? The dialogue between you two is a bit confusing.

I am just going off of what the last mission says before you start it. It tells you specifically to make sure you have Bruz, Idril and Baranor, Carnon and Eltariel (other than that one, since it counts as an Eltariel mission) complete BEFORE you start the mission.

Can I still do the Gondorian Artifacts, Shelob Memories, Shadow of the past, etc. missions after the final mission? or do those count as side quests aswell?
