Its really tedious and boring imo.... Unnecessary as hell. 4 Defenses wouldve been fine.
I did 6 now and got 2 more pending.
Do you manage to successfuly defend every time? It's quite hard sometimes...
Anyway, thanks for the answer. I had a fear that 3-4 forts need to be defended in the later phases. That would be extremely grindy.
that part of the fun ! xD
I found a pretty broken tactic as well. Get reinforced walls/gates and wallspikes. Preferably with caged dragons. At the start immediately kill the siege beasts and/or sappers if the enemy has them. (immediately nuke the sappers, you got like 10 seconds before they reach the gates)
If you manage that the enemy has no way of destroying walls and it will take them ages to destroy the gate with normal soldiers. Then farm them with drakes. Will take a while but as long as you clear the gate once in a while they will never breach it.
(playing on nemesis btw)
I just read this tactics online too and tried it, and it works very well really. :D How the sappers look like? Which enemy is that?
Sappers are the skinny ones that have hold torches and make a direct path towards the gate. They will be screaming and ignore fighting.
They hold torches so theyre pretty easy to see. 2 packs spawn in the start. One on each side.
