Can you recruit Zog ?

So, if you have beaten the storyline with Zog the Eternal he will start to roam your world and is pretty much un-killable, or rather has a 100% chance to return to life. Thing is, Zog can't be broken aka be made grab-able. Question is, can you - by some black magic - actually dominate him/recruite him ?

There's a few orcs that can wear a set of armour like Zog has, think i branded one at some point.

well technically you can recruit Zog, but you would have to edit his files and remove the traits that keep you from doing so.

I remember somebody managed to have Zog show up after the questline in Minas Morgul, and he was somehow lacking both unbreakable and iron will. As a result, the guy branded him.

So is there any way to force him to cheat death? Also, is it true that he can't cheat death after shadow wars?

He comes back after the Zog questline at any point. For me that happened after the shadow wars. As for him cheating death after that I am not sure

i was just afk for awhile and I came back and zog the eternal is now in minas morgul and killed me he is also now lvl 83 and i thought he was dead after the questline

Zog will cheat death for a single time long after the storyline. I think it's around the point you reach lvl 60. That's the time where he is shown in the army menu for the first time, but he has the iron will + the unbreakable trait (sometimes maybe only one of those). So you would need help by CE to be able to recruit him. There are vids on youtube that show how to do that. ;o)
Maybe you'll find him at online siege in another players world without these traits. Good luck!

You should publish an orc package with all the cool, but unrecruitable orcs like Zog, Ratbag, Ranger, Forthog, Baz, Daz and Gaz, and at least an unbroken Brûz. Think about.

Forthog can't be put in a package. The backleash would be insane.
