Worse than Death
Hey guys I just want to ask what's the difference between a regular "Shame" and the "Worse than Death" one? Both of them reduce the levels of the orcs by about the same amount and so far I haven't noticed the WTD one making a gurantee deranged. Maybe I need to hold down the key or something as I feel no difference

Here's the thing though, they don't always become crazy, it's just by chance. Also they have a chance to become crazy with a regular shame, and the levels they drop by is the same.

I've deranged orcs and I've also made an orc change from epic to legendary without "worse than death" activated. So far, the only difference I've noticed is that it decreases more levels than vanilla shaming. With "worse than death", I turned a level 41 orc into a 30 whereas regular shaming would have made him 36. I'm still experimenting.

I've noticed that when you do the regular shame it makes the orcs fall to your level exactly. Maybe WTD simply bypasses that restriction in favor of making them fall even more levels. But please do, much appreciated

There is a chance at making an orc much stronger as well. Adding levels instead of removing them and giving them a Maniac title or something like it.

Kinda rare though. Only had it happen once so far after many atempts. But I just wish shamming didn't leave that handprint scar. It just doesn't look that good.

the level drop in worse than death is bigger, also they can become maniacs, not just deranged, which is basically the same as deranged but with a powerboost instead

Worse than death also gives normal and mortal weaknesses, has a chance to remove iron will perk on enemies and removes some strenghts as well

Worse than death increases your chances of making the target Deranged (brain damaged), it also grants you a minor chance of making them Manics (Brain damaged but strong) which makes the target stronger

It only increases the chance of deranging, it doesnt guarantee a 100% derange everytime you shame

Oh yeah. I had this happen to an orc I shamed, and his level went up to 50 (at the time I was only level 30-ish). I killed him and got some loot that was way above my level. So that was cool.
