Should i kill legendary followers to get their legendary loot? or keep them?

It's your choice. You should come across a fairly equal amount of both when you play. Items generally don't have that major of an impact and you'll probably outgrow the need as you progress.

Orcs can be the same way, but if you come across an Orc you particularly like that's legendary, then keep him...the worst that can happen is he betrays you, and then you'll get an item anyways if you kill him.

Well the Legendary gear can be really helpful, so i would recommend that to exchange those legendary Orcs you dont use to gear, i've found that the Terror set was awesome for Conquest, and if you combine 2 set bonus of marauder with the 4 set bonus of warmonger to be even better as its just a Grunt destroyer / Dmg boost

the funny part is that i only encountered maybe like 10 legendary enemies (including the overlords). No idea how you manage to get a full terror set (i have 0 terror gear)

If they're a good legendary, then you might as well keep them. If not, they're item fodder. :p

If you do vendettas you'll already get a lot of legendary items (LIs), and with proper gems and skills you can get big bonus to quality of drops. At some point you basically only loot legendaries.

Youre talking about online vendettas? Cause i never got the loot drop from the captains i killed. I killed plenty of legendaries in ONLINE vendetta but i thought you don't get their drop item?

Online vendettas should just get you the lendary vendetta item. You don't get regular drops from online missions.

@Akiba, online vendetta guarantees one vendetta LI, but that's not what I am talking about. Intentionally die to an epic orc, it will start a vendetta for you personally. This vendetta will give you items of higher quality from the boss. If you have the Wrath upgrades (behind auto-loot) that increases quality, on top of the quality increase from the personal vendetta mission, you basically swim in LIs.

Does this work when trying to get a specific piece of a legendary set, like dark?

What is the wrath upgrade you're referring to?
