Error in The Chosen mission

Does anyone else has a problem with the defeat more orcs than Eltariel. I have tried it several times after the first 6 orc are killed nothing happens, I have tried waiting as long as 30 minutes. No other way but to leave mission or exit mission grounds.

You're not alone in this.
Supposedly, after the first 6 red shirts, a lot more should come. This doesn't happen. I've just encountered this. I have completed every other mission in Seregost, but have yet to confirm if this mission prevent further progression in the main story.

Any help/solution would be nice.

okay, i have no idea if this actually fixed it, but it's the only course of action
that i've taken outside the game.

I've Validated the game files. No files were missing. After, i tried re-doing the mission. This time, the orc's did appear and i could progress.

I contacted a friend about this issue, and he had also encountered the problem. Only he had used an outside program for cheats. infinite ammo, might, hp you name it. But it was an active program running outside of the game. He closed the game and the program. Got back into the game and the mission worked.

Now this really pisses me off. I didn't have an outside program to 'change' the game, nor did it seem like validating my game file made a difference, so i feel like i'm just stuck with "it just works again :D" for no apparent reason. Maybe just a momentarily bug? hardly, i tried to re-do the mission 4-5 times before i tried validating the game, but with all files there. There seem to be no relatable cause and effect :(

I have encountered a similar but a far worse version of this problem. I have tried 3 times up to now and whenever i started the "chosen" quest in "seregost" the game crashes. Apart from that, i haven't had any other problem in the game up to now.
