Sound issue.

I'm experiencing a pretty annoying issue where the audio goes silent for a split second every other second. I managed to launch the game without this bug after 3 attempts on the first day of playing but now I can't seem to do that. And of course with this kind of stuttering it's completely unplayable.
Sound in any other app/game is just fine.

I've been having the same issue. The game stutters right before a sound plays, usually a speech file. Its driving me nuts. I've tried everything to fix it on my end (audio set to 24b/48k, updated drivers, every possible audio/video configuration I can, etc.), but it persists no matter what. I notice that it happens in Shadow of Mordor too, but it doesn't cause the game to stutter, just the audio.

I'm having a similar issue in game, not in menus. I just got to Act 2 if that matters. It's pretty annoying. I'm gonna try verifying my files and toying with my sound settings.

I already tried disabling any surround sound options both in game and in my OS. THings like this never happened before, not even in Shadow of Mordor. I noticed that it begins when I launch the game and when the first "press spacebar" prompt appears some audio starts playing and if I press space lightning fast the sound stays normal. But if I'm a split second late something happens to the audio and this freaky crap begins. The game runs normally otherwise but the stuttering sound makes it unenjoyable.

Why am I finding tons of inquiries about this but no solutions? There are a bunch of suggested solutions, but they don't work.

Same, sound was fine just got to act 2 and now my sound skips every so often... driving me nuts.

My sound is the same but it's cutting out constantly, sounds like the sound is played through a fan which makes it sound kinda wobbly.

Yeah, but there's two issues with this awesome lol fix: I had my sound settings on 16 bit in the first place and don't you think ppl wouldn't want to switch to arguably inferior sound setting for just one game?
Also no habla espanol, chico :)

mine is fuzzy as ♥♥♥♥... it was fine before the patch and now the ruined it...

Yep, this started after they put out the second patch
