Quest: The Best Defense. Is it bugged for me?

Started the mission and I've dealt with the three waves of captains attacking my fort. After the last enemy captian fell the objective portion of my screen went blank and I've been killing random orcs throughout and outside of my fort for at least 20 minutes now. Only thing I found online mentioned killing off all the other enemies but theres a steady stream of them that keeps flowing into my fort. Just wondering if its bugged or is supposedt to be taking this long to actually do.

If anyone stumbles across this post incase the same thing occurs for them, I found out it was a bug. Found a video of the quest and as the player klilled the final enemy captain the objective was updated to "return to the keep." Left the mission and restarted it, worked correctly that time around.

I did restarted 3 times, didn't work

I tried at least 3 times and here is my workaround recipe:
Do not kill or dominate the captains, just help your army to kill them.
Worked for me. Regards.

Worked for me too, although I needed to ensure to have the killing screen pop up by being close enough to the kills
