The battle system feels harder now, which is a good thing. In SoM you could easily tyake on 100 orcs because they were all the same all the same level of weakness.
Shield carriers are easy to kill, get behind them or shoot them with arrows and they are done
Archers are even easierm, shoot them with a bow or climb up to them. The spear throwers are target #1, roll over to them and beat them up :p
Giants are kind of annoying but the same difficulty as say a caragor, beat, dodge, stun, climb ontop of stab to death while you make hi mram other orcs.
The character skills make it so we're not supremely overpowered. In SoM you were overpowered so quickly it was insane :/ By adding in upgrades you can choose what type of abiltiy you want without being too overpowered from having every abiltiy you want.
Still its a LOT btter than Shadow of Mordor. You went from cripplingly underpowered to SUPER UBER AWESOME OP in like 2 hours. He it is much mor gradual. I was so used to SoM that not being able to dominate orcs for the first act made me uneasy and felt frustrating.
really? You jump over them?
I cant believe how little you got out of my comment. How mindless your response was.
I guess you enjoy that instead of combat and reflex and tactics, its all about running away and getting your health back and coming back later on.
Because I had them unlocked almost right away.
you get outmatched, outnumbered, and overwhelmed and are forced to use all the arrows, all the explosives, all the junk laying around...
and then the damn orc cheats death...
i've basically resorted to trying to save my elven rage just in the case they cheat death, because i'm sick of having to leave an area and let all the arrows/explosives/grog/etc respawn...
i've on several occasions been stuck in a fight for over an hour because of this kinda nonsense.
You stupid little douche
I never lose a fight but I'm not having fun.
I said its pointless after you unlock your specific subskill, you cant use others, It changes gameplay, but its not improving anything or rewarding anything.
Maybe I read a book of great tactics about running away and getting your health back and coming back in the fight, wow what an amazing method you have figured out.
