poisoning grog work for anyone?

because besides making balefire when i blow it up it seems pointless. i cant get orcs to drink from it, so that infectious explosion colud upgrade does nothing.

2+ orcs automatically go to the grog after it has been poisoned.

They won't drink if they suspect someone is in the area

never once had that happen, every time i use it they just roam around the grog. maybe its because poisoning the grog also sets off that whisper distraction thing?

yeah, i'm guessing i'm just using it when they're alert.

Yeah they've changed it so it doesn't take affect right away, I had to wait at least 15 seconds before a group went to drink from it. I remember it being annoying in the first due to them walking straight to it which sometimes got me caught, but yeah it just takes a while for them to decide they want to drink

I poison all grogs I come across and leave them. Then when I return to the area later, even days, the dead bodies have gone but the coins and gems they dropped are still there. It looks quite funny: a grog stand with lots of white outlines around it. As if they were having a great party that went wrong.

i remember when i was following this captain who was vunerable to poison through a fortress and i was poisoning every barrel he passed, eventually i just came down and killed him myself... then afterwards i found a really good captain who would have been a ♥♥♥♥♥ to fight except he had drunk some of the grog, free accidental captain.
