Bodyguard Betraying Warchief Mission?

In the streams, and indeed, the previous game, you could ask branded bodyguards of the warchief to lure the warchief out to a secluded spot and fight them on your terms. However, when I try to do it, it just says "Play quests to interact with this character"... Which is odd, considering the missions I'm currently trying to do (taking the fortresses) are the only quests where that action will actually be relevent.

What gives?

I have the same problem with 'play quests to interact with this character. I dominated every single captain in the Nurnen region, and have killed both bodyguards of the overlord. In front of the overlord are 2 towers where his bodyguards were, which are now empty.

Another, maybe related, problem is that when I go to 'garrison' it says I have 0 followers.

I really don't understand all of this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

You send Orcs in your garrison via training orders.... Deploying them works the same way. You can find training orders under garrison in the menu(esc).
You can command one of your captains to take the warchief spot but they have to win a pit fight first.

In order to unlock the 'Betrayal' mission, the Warchief has to have AT LEAST two branded bodyguards (spies) assigned to him.

Thanks for the info. It turns out I had to do a quest with a tree-lady in the forest. After that Bruz told me to defeat the overlord.
Regarding the training orders, it's all a bit confusing. It makes no sense that I couldn't just select any of my dominated captains. Apparently, you have to do that through the command menu.
