Bodyguard Betraying Warchief Mission?
In the streams, and indeed, the previous game, you could ask branded bodyguards of the warchief to lure the warchief out to a secluded spot and fight them on your terms. However, when I try to do it, it just says "Play quests to interact with this character"... Which is odd, considering the missions I'm currently trying to do (taking the fortresses) are the only quests where that action will actually be relevent.

What gives?

Says you can do this on IGN too http://uk.ign.com/wikis/shadow-of-war/Warchiefs

But it's not giving me an option.

You have to have the body guards as spy's. And you have to have all of them as spys if he has multiple. Then it will be a betrayal when it's just you the war-chief and the bodyguard(s)

I will try this. Thanks. Do you have to unlock the ability to do this with a quest? It seems to think I do.

I think you do it with bruz when he is showing the ropes of fortresses. I might be mistaken. Easier way is to dominate the already made bodyguards then the option you recruit them is instead of retreat it will be make spy. And he will already be in as a spy instead of doing an extra mission to infiltrate

If i remember correctly there is a seperate quest that lures out the warchief. If you play on nemesis mode, I don't think its worth the efford of doing seperate missions to kill the warcheifs as they gain new warchiefs everytiome you die or time passes a certain time.

Okay so I've just gone and done this and there's no mission prompt. I'm in Seregost and I've taken the Nurnen fortress. It just says "Lure him out by killing his drakes." He only has one bodyguard and it's controlled by me.

Does it NEED multiple branded bodyguards?

This is what it says if I try and get him to target the warchief.

Is he a spy? Red line usually means he still has to do a mission. White line I think is when they have completed it

People HAVE done this, right? This is a feature that actually exists? I'm so used to Devs lying to people now that I wouldn't be suprised if it had been cut.

You need 2 body guards, don’t overreact, it’s all there
Angry Rope Oct 12, 2017 @ 5:55pm
Ah so do need more than one. Thank you! The IGN website said differently.

I set two bodyguards as spies, and a new mission popped up immediately after two start a betrayal mission against that Warchief

but it only appeared once i had both his bodyguards set to spies, OR if i had killed all but one, and had one set as a spy

if i kill all bodyguards without making any spies, a new mission pops up to encounter him yourself
