Have you tried unticking the box in the DLC thingy in the library?

Ya it just turns it off, doesn't remove it.

turning it off then verifying the install? Or else look at which they are specifically and remove them, or just remove all the textures and then verify. Otherwise reinstall.

So unchecking it does uninstall, but the pre allocated space that steam takes while installing stays allocated.. ie. 116 GB before installing textures. 75 GB after Installing and 75 GB after uninstalling.

again, have you tried manually deleting all the texture files and then veryfying to redownload any files that should not have been deleted?

4k vids are

steamapps\common\ShadowOfWar\game\cinematics\videos\golden_path
in there you will have one standard definition and another with viduhd (ultra high definition). Just go through the folders deleting the viduhd files

texture may be steamapps\common\ShadowOfWar\uhdmip.arch06 showing at 11GB

You will notice the rest of the files will show a time when you installed the game and the high res textures will have a later timestamp on the file.

Im keeping the files but let me know if it works.

Did it work? Don't want to try this myself since I don't feel like downloading 80 gig all over again. ;)

if anyone is still reading this thread:

The preallocated data will be found in \Steam\steamapps\downloading directory.

You can delete this along with any files you see here that are not currently being downloaded.
