1 hour of hearing this STUPID guy say his repeated line over and over again and I am seriously losing my mind. I want to just skip it and do the fight. This isn't entertaining. It was fun hearing him the first time. The other 50-60 times was not.
If you ever reach a point where you just can't progress, fall back and approach the problem from a different angle.
Also, pro-tip, if it's a fortress assault you're having trouble with, keep in mind that there are ledges to the left and right INSIDE the throne room. These typically have archers on them as well which are easily drained/dominated for some added damage and, more importantly, easy health.
LMAO, it seems he says the story of his life.
1. Immune to frontal attacks
2. Immune to vault
3. Immune to stun
4. Ranged fire ae attacks if you run
5. Close ranged ae attacks + heavy hitting attacks
6. Charge attacks
Plus you have the swarm of orcs all around him that continue to respawn. This guy is a legendary high level orc that 2-shots and is practically impossible to hurt. I like challenge and all of that, but I hate the banter I have to hear from him every single time I restart this mission. If it was different every time, maybe.
So it sounds like this is it for the game for me then. Since WB will likely never patch this and I don't want to hear him anymore, I guess I'm done.
Actually, I just saw this thread on the forums if you feel like doing a little bit of work:

Also roll to the side when he attacks, rather than vaulting. Also consider using slide attacks (sprint+tap shift) to knock him down and then hit him with ground executions and/or executions.
Btw has anyone found out a fast way to build up might? I'ts too damn slow.
The upgrade that makes it go up faster also resets it when you get hit. And when you're fighting a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of orcs, you're bound to get hit by something. And without that upgrade, might crawls if you're forced to dodge a lot.
The ologs are a pain in the ass because you can't counter them and when you try to hit them after freezing their ass, EVERYTHING ON THE MAP HITS YOU.
Also is it me or are the controls sluggish as hell.
I remember slaughtering hordes of 100 orcs with ease in Shadow of Mordor and in Shadow of War I'm getting my ass handed to me by like 10 orcs
Are you still struggling with this guy? If you still need help, let me know :)
There are several skills to help build might. Check through your passives again. If you're getting hit a lot, don't do Fatal Might - go for Grim Resolve. Fatal Might is useless if you aren't great on your counters and dodges, since a single poke sets you to zero. Perfect Counter has an upgrade that adds might for every counter, which you should be doing a lot, because it allows you to build hit streaks faster than dodging all over the place.
On Brutal Aggression, I don't see any reason to not use Ceaseless Might. It's simply awesome.
You should not be struggling to build might if you use all of those skills together.
As for Ologs, you should probably save killing them for last if you're having issues. They are slow and easy to avoid, so just murder everything else, then handle the lone olog.
They definitely upped the difficulty in this game. Captains are generally more difficult, and attempting to take on mobs of enemies can be fatal if you're not on point with your mechanics. There also seems to just be more enemies in general, and if you haven't noticed, there are more captains per region, and the areas are smaller... it's not at all unusual for me to encounter up to three captains in the same place. (Always a ton of fun, though.)
Fatal Might is useless because no matter how good you are, the FOV prevents you from seeing all your enemies. I often get hit by orcs that I can't possibly see. I don't get why they used such a small FOV when you're supposed to fight dozens of opponents at the same time.
The thing is I'm often confronted by mobs filled with defenders and ologs backed up by hunters. You can't counter any of those. Also ologs have massive splash damage and the doge between their legs thing doesn't really work for me for some reason. Talion mostly tries to jump on them, which ends with him getting slammed into the ground. Not to mention that the doge in general doesn't respect your freaking direction. I'm trying to jump over an orc behind me, and Talion goes to the right for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason. The controls are just frustrating.
Also my gear sucks because I've encountered only 2 legendary orcs in like 20 hours.
And the gear from one of them got lost. Only legendary items I have are from the Vengeance set but they are really low level. I'm 29 and I'm getting 25 lvl gear. That is when I'm getting it.
It seems like gear I'm not picking up manually gets lost. This includes gems
Seriously between my gear not showing up in my inventory and the horrible terrain glitches this game is packed full of bugs. The last one wasn't like this at all.
