The game's rating on steam doesn't make sense

Steam requires people to own the game to review, Metacritic doesn't (to my knowledge). It's likely that Metacritic was review bombed by people who don't own the game.

Metacritic is notoriously slated toward the trolls that bomb the ratining.... i have heard of people making up to 10 accounts to make 10 bad comments.

Yeah, so based on the fact that this game was obviously going to get review bombed after the weird amount of drama, I'd say Steam is probably one of the better areas to look at if you aren't concerned with MTs in the game. The reviews on there are by people who own the game and have at least played some of it, so I'd say they're more reliable in terms of the experience. If you're concerned with MTs, then maybe it's not the best because the people who did buy it and reviewed, generally speaking, don't seem to care about the MTs one way or the other.

Metacritic is a hole where trolls can create multiple accounts to spam fake reviews. Look at the critic response and see how closely that seems to match up to the Steam user reviews.

I forget where I saw this, I think on a YouTube video, but there are literally people on there that will negatively rate a game on something like the PS4 just because it's on PS4 and then positively rate it on XBONE because it's on XBONE. Anyone who thinks user reviews are more reliable that critic reviews forget that users are just as generally just as stupid. Best way to decide if you want to purchase a game is to wait for the release and look at some content on YouTube.

I don't think they are playing the game , they just give a 0 because of microtransactions.

They are using Freemium business model on top of Buy2Play - no s.hit people are not ok with that. WB does not get to use both business models in single product without aby benefits to the player (freemium model, yet no free/cheaper game and paid DLC, Buy2Play model yet game is not "premium" since it incorporates Free2Play elements). I hope at least some of you understand why it's scummy on WBs part.

All those MTs in GTAV means you gave it a negative review right? They deserve it for even having them in the first place. Right?

Also I havent even remotely felt the need to even look at the marketplace and I have free crates waiting. I cant even imagine why anyone even rushing the game would need them. You are always flush with all the orcs and equipment you need.
