Abgen: drake controls?

so i am on the quest "Abgen" (shadows of the past) where you test your skills as Celebrimbor in the past..

so it feels like the controls for riding the drake here is broken/wrong. at first i thought maybe it was the "invert drake controls" setting, which is ON by default.. but after turning this off, it is still just broken.

the problem is the game says WASD is used to move forward/left/back/right, but in my game this is not true.

W doesn't go forward, it goes up.
S doesn't go backward, it goes down.

this is what E and C are supposed to do. and it seems those actually do nothing.
spacebar is supposed to accellerate, but it feels like it is doing nothing also...

i'm not sure if this issue is just for this quest, or in general, because i haven't spent much time riding drakes to test.

anyone else have this? a resolution?

WASD point you in the direction you want to go, they don't actaully move you. E and C are for strafing up and down when aiming, and aiming causes you to hover otherwise you're always moving forward in the direction the drake is facing. Space causes you to move faster in the direction you're pointing.

he always moves forward like a plane so W and S is to maneuver up and down while spacebar is for flapping the wings faster~

I'm having an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥ of a time getting that mission done with the bonus objectives, is there some trick to it?

They are backwards to what the controls are listed as. Notch it up as another example of a poorly designed port

controls are terrible... I do not understand, why drake should be always moving forward... it's not hard to complete this mission, but completing it on time with such horrible controls...
