On topic, I agree. Talion cared about Celebrimbor enough to give up the ring for his safety, but Celebrimbor never saw him as anything more than a tool
Finally, someone who agrees with me!
Just do Ringwraith cloak and bright armor, then stick with it. that is what i am doing
But Talion is like can't dominate this, can't shame that.
Also.. He let Isildur go instead of using him. He could have been really valuable to us. Then 20 mins later we see Talion summoning bunch of dead gondorians, like hello? What about you being a good boy and all?
Why arent we mad Talion as well for summoning the dead for power etc? is it okay?.. because; his family was killed by Sauron and because celebrimbo tossed him aside for getting in his way. so now he's all boo hoo I can be mean too?
And lets talk about Celebrimbo, he is elf and a wraith. They are basiclly almost immortal. 100 years could seem like a whole life to a human(Talion) , but for Celebrimbo it's probably feel like a month or two. I mean Celebrimbo is like few thousand years old. Then Sauron and Celebrimbo, Sauron lied to him, betrayed him, killed his whole family, Took down his whole kingdom, humiliated him. If I was in celebrimbo’s shoes I’d want Sauron brought to his knees too.
I know most would disagree, but I feel like Celebrimbo leaving Talion is just justified. Talion and his moral are not cut out for winning a war.
The campaign's writing is so poorly written it's beyond the point of humorous and just plain dreary. Thank god the Orcs got such excellent personalities, else the game might have been a total disappointment. The Orcs having great writing serves to highlight just how bad everyone else got it, though.
Men are impulsive and emotional
Elves are methodical and more rational.
Shelob kept asking him what he was willing to sacrifice.
When he lost all of his friends, and nearly lost his life again, he sacrificed his morals in order to keep on fighting. That's why he turned into a ringwraith and began summoning the dead.
The whole THEME of that entire scene is that he had to change who he is to keep on fighting for his beliefs. It's not a "why would you do that if it goes against your morals" thing, it's a "you did this FOR your morals" thing. You misinterpret it as hypocrisy when it is not.
Also, no one said Celebrimbor leaving Talion isn't justified. We understand his reasons but I still was sad to see him leave him behind. They weren't going to get any farther together in their quest if they didn't agree on the ultimate result.
