Not really just singleplayer, your fortresses are used for online conquest and will ruin it for other players. If you are going to cheat - make sure to play offline.
I am cheating only for fun purposes. Like when you come home from a hard day of work, you dont wanna think and look at everything, you just wanna chill. So do I. In Shadow of Mordor, it was pretty easy to kill thousands of uruks without getting hit a single time or getting killed. In Shadow of War it is harder, in my opinion.
So trainer are prohibited in singleplayer... Not going to cheat then, I wanna "capture" the online fortresses.
they can prohibit it all they like in wording, saying it's wrong etc but if there's no actual enforcement? then it is indeed allowed.
This is a direct quote from the end user license agreement: "You may not modify the Game Client or any portion thereof", here is another direct quote: "You may not develop, distribute or use any third party program designed to impact the Game experience, including without limitation software bots, cheats, hacks or any other software designed to provide a player with an advantage". Now i'm not an expert (far from it) in these matters, but this seems to be pretty straight forward.
So technically the person would be breaking the agreement and therefore also breaking the law.
Not that anybody would care really but if we are being literal, then yeah it's not allowed legally.
still doesn't mean you should commit a crime though, in a single player game trainers are not illegal, online portions though I would think so as it gives unfair advantage vs others.
