Tar Goroth Unwinnable?

So... after 10 repeats I still haven't succeded in defeating Tar Goroth and the issue only appears when I am supposed to drown the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the third time in which a qte initiaties.

However despite mashing the hell out of the space button the game barely registers it, in fact it almost appears as if the qte sequence is rigged to prevent me from succeding.

Hey, I've been having this same problem. Since a month has passed, have you gotten past this in some way already?

I pressed the spacebar at a slower interval and with less intensity, simply put it suddenly worked in a way that just seemed like the game was insulting me.

Obviously not, but it's possible one person having the same problem as me could not find a way around it and has stopped playing

It's usually how the "sensitivity" of certain game systems work. Yours must simply be made by Sonic-Team...
