Is there mod support?
Im considering whether to get the game, and have heard a lot about it, but havent reached a conclusion yet. if there is mod support ill be very excited about the future, such as playing as an ork, or other monster. ultimately i want to see a giant Warhammer Fantasy total conversion mod, but thats a stretch.

There isn't mod support. It's against the EULA WB set up.

One free update will be coming this month along with the Slaughter Tribe DLC. It's implementing Endless Shadow Wars, since people really like defending and attacking fortresses.

This is made in UE4, which means that mods can be made, but they would be purely visual, like texture swaps, mesh swaps, but none of these things have been done yet for this game.

That said, it is against the EULA and the TOS, and who knows how denuvo would react to such changes.

Loot boxes make it a no go, imagine all the money they would lose off a full priced game if they lost loot boxes due to a loot boxes for free MOD

WB is already losing money due to Monolith's way of implementing the MTs anyway. The way Monolith hands out prizes through daily and weekly challenges basically made the MT worthless.

Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor is made using an in-house engine, iirc. It's an upgraded version of the same engine they used since the old F.E.A.R games, redubbed as "Firebird" engine.

No they are losing money because they shoved MT's in at the ass end of development just like the Deus Ex crew had to do. As it stand companies in the next coming year are going to start feeling the iron toed boots of the gaming communities to their throats.

That being said, I won't open this game until December when I get my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ other tribe dlc.

I stand corrected it lists the Lithtech engine that uses as its base, I guess their modifications to it make it Firebird now.

So odd because I recognize the deferred rendering, an it makes it appear identical to UE4.

That doesn't even make sense... Sure, the MTs are there, but adding to the public outrage, the existence of Mirian and the daily challenges makes MTs worthless anyway. It also doesn't help that a challenge finishable within five minutes rewards you with things bought with premium currency. If anything, I say Monolith is giving a subtle middle finger to WB here.

The daily and weekly challenges have been too generous to be anything but that. It's like they're really going out of their way to make the paid items worthless by giving it for free, simply by doing mundane tasks in the game.

They did say that all content from micros would be avaliable for everyone just by playing the game and completing challanges so i say they just be sticking to their word. It would be nice to think of it as a F U to WB but i think they are just following their directive.

I would agree if it's just that. They are actively going out of their way to reward those who complete weekly challenges with premium items, and that's by completing mundane tasks, like do 15 headshots during an online conquest, kill orcs while mounted, etc.
