Also try turning off "Dynamic Resolution". <-- it's probably that.
As Zirael said, try checking your dynamic resolution, and the game also apparently doesn't do well with certain monitor resolutions so that might also be the case
it's turned off,and everything is set to Ultra. I7/1080/16GB of DDR4, running on an SSD.

what a joke. i've refunded it. i don't feel like this is worth 60 euros. Nioh is coming out on the 7th, and i'd rather spend my money on that. i invite you guys to replay shadow of mordor, in parallel with shadow of war, and see which looks better. i actually played some today, waiting for shadow of war to download, maybe i would not have remembered otherwise, but the difference is quite noticeable.
Yes, thank you, you hit the nail on the head. That wonderful depth, moody lighting, the rich shaders, and colors in Shadow of Mordor impress me to this day. Everything looks flat in Shadow of War. As i've said, if not for the previous game, i would have probably been okay with the graphics. But you cant expect a shiny new 2017 sequel to look worse than it's 3 year old predecessor.
Yeah, they do. They seem more diverse in shapes and sizes, and, i feel like also in weight. Animations in SoW feel a bit "lighter". And orcs don't show as much feeback from your hits as well. I will probably buy it during a sale, at some point. Who knows, maybe they will actually improve the graphics, it's been done before in other games. Here's hoping.
u really want better graphics just use an post injector program like reshade or enb basically anything you can see with ansel effects reshade or enb can do in gameplay.

Im just sad to see someone's gonna miss out on all this fun
looks fine to me.
you should get your eyes checked then
Obs you're obsessed into getting kink-mods like Skyrim's 50% sexually explicit modding content... If you care THAT much for "graphics"....
(^^^ That was a joke btw, because it's actually true for Skyrim ^^^)
You say graphics are not important.... when complaining about them and saying you wouldn't purchase it for the "bad graphics", when it's better than your usual, everyday game's graphics... I believe it is important to you from what you're suggesting.
You need to make up your mind if you want an actual answer, are they important to you or are they not?
Also, the only reason it looks "worse" is because Monolith are using a completely different design art style with graphics and lighting designs... more diverse-capatible, unlike Shadow of Mordor's constant darkened skies.
This. I noticed his contradiction as well lol. Also the graphics are fine honestly, and they look better at some points IMHO.
So far as which one is better is personal preference I suppose. Though not playing it and/or refunding it over this is pretty regoddamndiculous if you ask me.
