Why in the world does the spirit of carnan have to sound so godd*mn ridiculous? I literally have to skip cutscenes with the voice in it or turn down volume when you cant.

What's wrong with the voice? It's some otherworldly being. Same VA as one of the Witches of the Bog in Witcher 3.

I'm ok with it, as Medes said it does give that "otherworldly" feel to the dialogue. It's kinda like, you know, a tree learned how to talk but isn't very good at it. it's also not unusual for something in the Tolkien universe to talk funny

I like the voice. Thats the voice and mannerisms of somebody who doesn´t usualy deal with humans. In the german translation the text is spoken pretty plainly and the voice loses much of it´s flair and Carnan feels totaly different.
edit: also it´s a f****** tree lady witch thing. Of course she has a speech impediment xD

Yes, exactly, but gladly towards the end it actually sounds like they toned down the ridiculous-ness a bit. I actually liked it in the last 3-4 carnan missions
