Quick Throw Sets Fire Every X Seconds - Bugged?

I use the elemental effect add to quick throw near constantly because it's super useful. In particular curse lets you brutalize pretty much anyone, in the middle of a melee.

However, I have a problem. None of my add fire effect daggers seem to be doing anything. Poison and curse work great, but when I equip a fire effect dagger (and upgrade it, of course) the enemies don't catch fire, ever. Not fireproof captains, just rando grunt orcs. No fire! Fire is arguably the best effect for general use, so this is really bothering me. I remember it working in Act 1, but somewhere in Act 2 it stopped, no fire daggers work. I'm now in act 4 and really missing my fire throw effect.

Anyone else with this problem?

What happens when you throw out a fan of throwing knives with the augment? Does the entire fan inflict burn since it's just one quick throw?

The fan does inflict the status effects, I've used it a bunch

I am having this problem in act 1. I have a dagger that is supposed to cause Quick Throw to light enemies on fire every 42 seconds but it has not worked once since I equipped it.

Sorry to hear that Hellrazor. But in a way I'm also glad -- if two of us have the same problem, then it's more likely that the bug is more general and easier for WB's coders to find and fix.

Can I join the club? I have daggers that seem to work properly for applying curse and poison, but the fire one doesn't seem to do anything. Tried with the 5 blade fan and the throw 3 in a row versions of the ability, no dice on either. Riph I can't remember if it worked earlier in the game, but its certainly not working in act 4.

2.5 years later, still a problem for me. Only for fire. And multiple daggers are affected.

Let me know when you find out when they will patch. I'll leave notifications on for this forum for another 3 years.

Turn off active upgrades such as swift barage in my case.

Others had said the fan works (rain of blades) but I didn't have a skill point, so I just turned off swift barage, and it works with the base "brace of daggers".
