Human Slaves
The previous game had a lot of Human Slaves and there were plenty of Missions involving them as well.

So far i have seen no Human Slaves at all, are they gone? If so how come? Does anyone know?

that must have been some hungry orcs.

Wonder if they got executed for killing all of their slaves.

In the game they have shown small Orc's being used as slaves.

In the first game Talion saved all the slaves in both Udan (the all escaped when he took down the Hammer) and Nurnun (they all escaped just after he left to fight the tower).

The only reason they remain in game is for gameplay purposes, technically there should be no humans left in those two regions after the end of Shadow of War.

Really? Thats interesting, is that according to lore or anything? I never read the books so i know pretty much nothing about it.

I did like seeing the Slaves and now i was half afraid they were removed due to some oversensitive people or something. Sadly also very realistic.

I'd steer clear of trying to marry up the lore of the games with the lore of the books (with or without appendices). Matter of fact, I'm sure a quick Googling will turn up a few hundred threads and/or articles on the differences between game and book canons.

I suppose only a certain tribe would have human slaves, but i'm not sure if and who.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed to not see humans in the game. In SOM there were human slaves everywhere, and it always made me want to stop and rescue them. If it's just a bunch of orcs walking back and forth, or being mean to each other, I'll just be running past everything to get to the next objective. Orcs are evil personified, I don't want to rescue them. Big missed opportunity to keep the open world more interesting.

Didn't one of the recent tribes stream show human slaves?

Orcs are evil but not dumb. I know myself. I'll save them and make them strong !

Considering Christopher Tolkien only wrote vaguely about Sauron's return to Mordor from Dul Guldur and nothing was covered on how Gondorians who did inhabit the lands were treated, no, no lore.

Unless someone wants to point out where, because "The Return Of The Shadow" in "The History of Middle-Earth" collection doesn't mention much. Been a while since I read it though. That is why this game series is somewhat original. Picked a place that never got covered in lore on what happened for the 60 years in Mordor Sauron was regaining forces and strength again.

Rescuing orc slaves to recruit them is actually a pretty interesting idea.

Yeah but it doesn't really do anything does it? Only captains really count, you don't have to really collect all the Uruks for your army they will just appear like in SoM

It's only in a direct battle that you can turn their allies against them is it nice to brand them on the fly.

Still wanna see Human slaves, its fun seeing a group of them attacking their captors when you show up lol

Right. I forgot that recruiting random doods doesn't really matter, even in SOM.

Will definitely miss that if humans don't make a return. Good times.
