Do you wield the One Ring in this game?
I am not too familiar with the Lord of the Rings, but from what I gathered from the first movie at least, that the One Ring that Sauron wields is like the most powerful thing ever and grants you unlimited powers.

Is that the ring that you wield in this game, because they call the ring in this game, the ring of power...?

And if you wield the one ring, then what does Sauron wield?

A new ring of power is forged by Celebrimbor (The wraith that talion is bound to). I don't know very much about the lore of lotr, but I believe at the point in time that this game is taking place in, Sauron doesn't have the One Ring.

Celebrimbor makes his own ring together with Talion and in the game you can unlock schematics to unlock different runes/powers for this ring.

You make a new, lesser ring. It isn't as strong and can be inscribed. Sauron the Demigod proablly just placed op runes from his boss into it. Or from balrogs. Meanwhile you can have rings below yours like the ringwraiths

The One Ring only works if you are powerful enough. And VERY few people are acknowledged to overpower the ring. There actually might only be two, those being Tom Bombadil and Sauron.

I highly reccomend that you read the books (there's alot of them) or spend a while on the Tolkien Gateway wiki. The Lord of the Rings is probably the most well-thought out fictional work ever.

Sauron didn't put runes on the ring. Rings seal power within them and grant it to people who where them. Sauron happened to place his own spiritual power upon the ring.

i don't think they will offer the one ring in the shop. That would most likely cause major issues with the community.

They already got Orc Captains popping out of chest like surprise eggs so i wouldn't be surprised lol.

Is this about the microtransactions?

Here, some actual information for those people to learn on...

And if you're here just to complain about something in the game and you DON'T intend to play or buy this game: Be logical, and leave the forums, because you're not going to buy it, the forums won't concern you.

And if you do not intend to use the microtransactions: Be logical, save yourself some time and leave the forums since it isn't going to concern you if you won't be planning on using it.

there is a difference between a randomized Orc Captain and getting the flipping one ring.

It would be like they allowed you to get named orcs like: Lurtz, Sharku, Azog, Bolg, the Great Goblin, Gothmog, Guritz and even Uglúk.

Correct, Bilbo has the ring in The Shire at this point.

We travel to the Shire and have a Bilbo Baggins Boss Battle, then Celebrimbor uses the ring to create a new Bilbo, the one we see in the movies.
