Did you even play those games, idiot?
The Official Soundtrack for Shadow of Mordor was quite epic, why waste money on trying to make an entire new album instead of just taking inspiration from the original music tracks Monolith did themselves earlier?
The reused voice acting is so, logically also, that it could cost less and also add a little bit more to the Nemesis System without wasting money, logical. (Plus this could mean and confirm the theory stronger that we might be able to import our Shadow of Mordor Ultimate Nemesis)
As I said before, less money, same goes for the old animations being imported to Shadow of War. No reason that this is bad.
>minor things
>the game's animations
Ok buddy
Now if they reuse those animations but they only take up maybe 25% with the other 75% being new animations, then whatever that'd be reasonable. But seeings how the music and many of the dialog and voice lines are also reused from the old game, it's not looking like that'll be the case.
quick edit I hate that steam censors my filthy words Feelsbad
Either you're trying to make a rant just to annoy fans or you're simply unable to see logical reasoning... Reusing assets that work, saves money.
That money which was saved can then be used to make more CONTENT, more content means more NEWER stuff... Plus, it kinda is Shadow of Mordor 2... It's the sequel.. :P
Again, you're either a troll, or someone who really can't see logical reasoning on game developement.
Truly, you are a genius. Do you make games? You should.
edit: The game is out in 3 months. If you don't think it's worrisome that every dodge, execution, etc in the demo presentation (that will be the final game) was a reused animation from a widely successful 3 year old game, then you're either naive on a level I didn't think was possible, or your standards are so low that you should stop giving your opinion because it's that of a worthless sycophant who contributes nothing to the progress of video games.
It is the first game copied and pasted with more stuff.... so what?
And instead of the preexisting parry animations, which look very much like actual parrying moves , Talion should have learned to shoot lasers out of his eyes to destroy incoming objects.
That way they wouldn't need to reuse any PERFECTLY FINE AND ACCURATE ANIMATIONS
