Further down the line we may consider opening the game up for modification like this. But for the time being it will remain as it is.
dude i totally understand you!... but believe me i went from negative review to positive just because i cannot find a single hinge and motor for a freezer xD... but actually those things appear randomly. you know the feeling that when you finally get those items then they start appearing like every loot you find and it's annoying.... the fact that when you try to find them they are super rare but when you dont need them anymore they are everywhere.... believe me dude that rope problem is the same as any other items you wanted to find... i dont think they are rare they're just random... you just need a bit of luck and extra patience.... the only rare items here is i think are the specials
You can either use cheat engine to modify stats and things like that in game or you can convert the DAT file to XML, edit it, and then reload your game.
I'm inclined to agree with the "Are you kidding me?" guy on some level. This game is in early access, if you can't/won't/haven't fixed things like not being able to remove or move an extra ladder that's now blocking your ability to continue to build, I need/want the ability to go in and remove it myself so I can continue to enjoy, test, and give feedback.
Cheating to just give yourself a bunch of stuff is boring. Getting a partially implemented or broken thing that will eventually get fixed in a patch out of your way is another matter altogether.
