It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game , if we want a cannibal family , we will have a cannibal family .
It's a GAME .
#CANNIBALFAMILY
Ghostwolf, cannibalism is not only a ''must'' or choice when you starve, it's also an psychologic disorder. It's just a game, i already know but doesn't the team also try to make it more realistic? The main subject of my comment, if you can eat human, then it has to be something bad in return like in real life.
Such as:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AskScienceFiction/comments/1aqbwu/how_people_would_get_food_in_a_post_apocalyptic/
I will address however the idea that this game is ‘not for children’ or that the situations in the game should be censored to allow children to play it.
My feeling is, people need to step back and let Parents parent their own children… If you happen to believe in presenting moral questions to a child such as “what is a life worth and what would you do to preserve one” then games such as Sheltered and others provide a tool to engage your children in conversation.
If you prefer to offer a black and white view of the world to your kids, a world where-in there are absolutely NO advantages to doing anything out-side of what is strictly considered socially/religiously/ethically acceptable by your OWN standards, than no this game is probably not a game you want your child to play unsupervised.
Regardless, I don’t feel that it is acceptable to impose your own moral calculus on a gamming community. It is unfair to try to hijack a game in early development in order express your personal views. $15 is simply not worth that much by-in sorry.
Frankly I’d say the same regardless if I agreed with your view or not that cannibalism does exact a price on your soul.
Post Script: And by the way I do agree with your view. I just don’t feel I get to impose it on the game as a whole.
Other than that, having a straight penalty for making a moral decision isn't something I'm interested in at all. It diminishes the game and instead of letting this be a sandbox of survival ethics, it simply becomes a game where you make the choices the dev wants you to in order to survive longer.

A good time with , a good time .
I'm a friggin' vegan in reallife.
I killed 2000+ cows in minecraft along with countless other animals.
I was euphoric when I heard GTA V would have wildlife in it because MOAR STUFF TO KILL!
The unnatural selection achievement in Red dead redemption (kill every species at least once) was the first one I went for (well, after the "place hogtied woman on train tracks" one) just for the lols.
And in sheltered, my dudes down there munch on delicate strangers even in times of 250+ food in stock because #CANNIBALFAMILY
Long story short: It's a game. Sometimes, it's fun to abolish your morals in games. Because in games, it doesn't hurt anyone. Because it's not real. And it's definitely not advertising, otherwise I would be out in the woods right now, killing any living thing I see instead of sitting here, nibbling on some tofu.
Don't tell me you're from those who don't eat ''any'' animal nutrition but buying the same sector's ''extra vegan'' products. The money all the way goes to the same ''killers''.
Anyway, it's an other subject's issue. The title of the thread must have been wrong, While opening this, my main target was advertising concern of having a cannibal family. There was an other thread on the community and there was written ''I have found a really big market full of food in ''blabla city'' (the guy was informating the players of this in good faith) then there it's, the second comment of the thread is: ''oh, i don't care i have a cannibal family, it's the only way. ^#CANNIBALFAMILY'' or something like that.
Anyways...
Back to cannibalism: I'm pretty sure Mr. Kennedy here who wrote said comment of concern isn't a cannibal in reallife nor wants to become one in near future. Maybe because cannibalism can in fact cause an illness called Kuru. And ... maybe because cannibalism is illegal. But Kennedy himself already responded to this topic anyway.
All what's left to say from my part is that I not only appreciate, but furthermore participate in his kind of ingame lifestyle, because it's fun due to the reasons I mentioned before.
