Detailed explanation of the Stress/Trauma system???

Can somebody give me an very, very detailed explanation on the Stress/Trauma system, because even after nearly 80 hours of gameplay I dont understand it completely
(for example why is the Trauma bar empty when two of my ppl die on the same time = 120 Trauma, when can ppl become catatonic, is Trauma only dangerous when the trauma bar is completely full etc.)
