Possible Mouse Cursor fix
Like many others I too had the "No Mouse Cursor Problem", I seem to have resolved this by not having my Razor Orbweaver plugged in. The game may have a problem with that one device, or it may be having multiple keyboards that causes it, either way, thought I'd post what worked for me.

Interesting. I've been suffering from the missing mouse pointer bug too, but I don't have an Orbweaver. I do have a Razer Deathadder though. I wonder if this bug is confined to Razer mice.

Have Razer gamepad and no mouse here. I guess the autodetect sequence for controllers is messing up and wrongly removing the mouse. Which is always a problem when you don't give users a way to disable/enable controller support, the PC market has a million combinations don't hardwrite your best guess system.

I have the issue and i've both the orbweaver gamepad and Ouroboros mouse.

As soon as i touched my Xbox controller my cursor disapeared and wouldnt come back, unplugging the controller and re-opening the game fixed it and i havent seen it since.

Has this been resolved yet? I am not unplugging all of my gear for a game to work. This needs to be fixed.

We need this to be set before loading into the game, should give the user a control option when loading in, I have the same problem and I'm not changing my keyboards to play a single game. Waiting for this to be fixed yet. I have a Razor Deathstalker Ultimate.

Over the past few decades software developers on the PC platform realized that auto-detection of hardware would always be problematic - there are just to many peripherals and custom setups to accurately predict what works best for all users.

Because of this some early mistakes like forcing a control scheme based on autodetect became evident and were avoided. Sensibly it became the norm to default to mouse control and then allow the user to decide on the preferred scheme through the options control panel.

This dev seems to have missed all that.

I use a Razor programmable gamepad in place of a keyboard for gaming. Due to some shoulder issues it is difficult and painful for me to sit at a desk and use a keyboard in a normal manner. This game detects this as being a xbox style controller and therefor locks out mouse control which of course means no control.

No ideas why the devs would set things up like this to begin with but they have pretty much ignored the issue when it has been raised multiple times.

Default mouse control is the standard becuase pretty much 100% of us have that. Locking people out based on a poorly coded auto-detect functions is a bad idea all the time.

I second this, or this is one of few games the OrbWeaver of mine cause issues with simply because devs are wiser than to use auto-detect features in the first place.

Luckly I can refund the title until the issue is solved but I hope they do resolve it since I like the game.

until then I'm out.

is this seriously still not fixed?! i bought this game back in november i believe, and it was never an issue before. i got bored of playing Ark, and decided to try a throwback, and now the game does not work anymore. i do not have any kind of fancy controllers, i use a logitech keyboard, and the laptop i am using has a keyboard on it, and i have a Zelotes mouse, but it isnt anything fancy. devs need to fix this. there is no reason for it to still be a problem

I wanna keep my orbweaver plugged in!! The chroma cycling looks so nice next to my keyboard, mouse and mousepad - to be honest, I'm more interested in keeping the cool-looking chroma lights rather than play this game - so it looks like this was another wasted purchase on Steam :(

Just unpluged my Razor Orbweaver and there's my mouse. Thanks Darth Xile.

Can confirm;
Had invisible mouse bug too (running win 10 Pro here) until I unplugged my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro JOYSTICK which I currently only but frequently use for Star Citizen game.
Seems like the game is unable to distuinguish between gamepads and joysticks.
