How Do you cook Meat?

i have a poor stove and a fridge full of meat but i see no option to have them cook it

watch them when you tell them to eat while you own a stove, it becomes a 3 part process: get food, cook food, eat food.

Nope. I just did that, I had a freezer full of meat and a poor stove. Chick just ate the meat raw and died of food poisoning. How do you cook the bloody meat?!

Your stove doesn't need to be fixed, right? I was just in game and have the level 2 freezer and poor stove. I right click the freezer and select the first option ( believe it is eat meat ) and they go to the freezer, grab the meat and then bring it to the stove to cook then eat. The stove is near the freezer (not sure this matters)?

About your food poisoning, I had another family at one point, they ate the raw meat, all 4 had food poisoning and after a few days, they all got over it and didn't die. I am sorry that you got unlucky :(

No, it was at like 80-something %. I am still not sure why they weren't using the stove on my game (bug?) but I started over, because ♥♥♥♥ that. lol It works fine now. Also, this wasn't the issue for me, but if your people need a shower and they eat, they will almost always get food poisoning; at least they do in my game. So I keep them clean, no buggy stove, and it's looking good! Thanks for the response though, very much appreciated :)

Make sure that the person has good hygiene! If they badly need a shower and eat food (even tinned I think), they'll get sick.

No thats not how it works, I've had people do that before and nothing happened.

I can confirm:

Process will be maintained automatically. Maybe you got some glitch in your early verion of the game (it was 3 years ago, tho).
My adult female got food can from the food shelf and then she went downstairs to the floor when there were fridge next to stove placed, and she cooked her can on the stove - all of this automatically. Fridge and stove were placed already before she picked this can.
