How to start the quest for the new shelter?

keep "scanning frequencies" on the radio.
once you get the quest, you click on the van and select "move on"

Do you lose all your stuff when you move on?

Hey Editfish,

You get to select some resources (about 50 off the top of my head) to take with you to your new shelter. You won't be able to go back to your old shelter again though, and things are even harder.

Question:

When you move to the new shelter, will it be only your family members (however many are still alive) or WHOLE LOT of survivors?

If everyone moves (15 peeps for example) and you start with an underdeveloped shelter, then it means you are forced to mass dismiss which leads to mass raids on your supplies that you just brought....?

52 items/stacks to take with.
new map.
van disables upon arrival(loses 2 items)
partially upgraded shelter items.
5 level shelter.

pretty easy move to be honest. the game is no harder if you take the right 52 items/stacks, which doesnt take much thinking.

..exactly this , but i'm unsure atm if i got the "right" items with me , time will see , hehe ...anyway nice to have 5 level's , didn't know that , my first day on my new shelter now.

When moving to new shelter with the van, do you keep your special recipes unlocked or you have to find the blueprints all over again?

..day 332 , i'm already well stated in the new (2nd) shelter & there's another "family shelter quest" out there now , i need to bring him the same amount of fuel , water & food again ..so it seems like the same quest. this mean i could moving on to another ...3rd shelter ? ..with even more space than 5 level probably ? ..another new (3rd) map & another family member (6th then) ..i guess.

yet i'm unsure if i should moving or not ..that would be the 3rd time building up all the stuff perhaps ..lol

..did / had someone this quest twice (or more) aswell ?

im planning on moving for the second time tonite.
