If you can't find anything, radio for traders.

Trade out your pistol, jukebox CDs, relaxants, toys, books and antibiotics for those. These are pretty useless items in the game, but have high value.

Traders via radio usually have high amounts of uncommon materials that you will need, so just radio away.

Firstly, sorry for quote the whole post. Secondly, These items You listed above are not useless. Indeed it have great value, but when You have 10 of toys and books You can rise the surfivors skills insanely fast. Also 10 vinyls give you more different songs in jukebox. ;)

EDIT: Oh, wait until You arrive in 5-6'th map. You will cry for antibiotics. ;)

Why do you need antibiotics? Are they useful in-game now, or will they be implemented fully in a future update?

Let me explain friend. Antibiotics are usefull when your survivors have infected status. From what I observed so far, infections mostly starts when survivor gets hurt from sharp weapons like knives and hatchets or guns. That may be only light wound (few lifepoints loss) but always is a probability to get infected after injures like that. Then, when survivor returns to shelter from wasteland, have a chance to have an Infection status. In practice, watch out on orange faction (can't remmember the name) but they looks like butchers and are mostly equiped with hatchets and crowbars. When They start to cut You down then You will be for sure infected from cuted wounds.

I hope I helped. If You have any other questions I will explain it with pleasure ;)

Yeah, thats not becouse you used antibiotics, it just heals over time espacialy if you keep him clean. For food-poisoning, there ARE meds but youll have to produce them yourself.

Please do not confuse "food poisoning" with "infections". They are two different things and currently I have not encountered "infections".

The only cure for food poisoning is to wait it out or sleep on a Luxury Bunk Bed, or one of the homemade meds.
