Hammer for the Tools achievement

Im on day 309 and havent been able to find a hammer for my tooltable.

Do any of you guys remember where you found one? I've been searching lumber yards, scrapyards, factories and petrol stations to no avail :(

Don't quote me, but I am sure I found one on a farmhouse.
I also go out with the items that help me find extra loot.

I finally got it, we were right, I found the hammer at the first hardware store once I moved to the new shelter. My first map didnt have big cities or hardware stores e,e

Sometimes you'll find tools at airports, factories or scrapyards. Although I will note that hammers have become quite scarce recently, the last 3 shelters I have moved to, I have had 2 where I didn't find a hammer at all, and one where I didn't find one until the last expedition I did before I moved on to the next new shelter.

guys, i have a similar problem, please help me about it.
It's day 298 and i couldn't find that drill.
i searched everywhere again and again: schools, scrapyards, lumberyards, police stations, airport, ptrol stations but the hatch, because i couldn't find the code.
There is no drill. I have the other 9 tool and find them maybe 10 times but no drill.
What do i have to do? Move to another shelter? Is this the solution?
I don't know exactly what happens to all my stuff when i move to another one?
Please tell me something.

I looked every small and large hardware stores with lockpicks, metal detectors and binoculars but there's no drill =(

I've always had the best luck finding power tools at airports and factories.

I will search airport and factories one more time but i already searched them maybe fifth time. But i will search again.

I found the hammer defenetly in the factories my map had 3 of it :)

my map doesn't include drill and i moved on another.
and i find it in small factory on day 370s =)

I just want to officialize that hammers can be found at factories. Literally 2 minutes ago I found 2 hammers at a large factory and I came straight here because I've had difficulty finding hammers in my past 3 shelters. This is my first time finding one in ages. And I know that I will probably forget where I found it in like a week, so I figured I'd post this as a little reminder to myself and hopefully a large help to the rest of the community here.
